Britney Spears is a singer, actress and dancer from the USA who was actually trying to make a success out of her acting career before she tried making songs. She was appearing in television shows and stage productions as a young child. It wasn’t until much later that she decided to attempt to make a go of things with music in 1997 where she signed a record deal with Jive Records. She released her debut album in 1999 and then another one the year after. The successes of both albums gained Britney fame all around the world with a number of her singles breaking records. In 2007, she underwent some personal issues which were publicized and she decided to put her singing career on hold.
